Agricultural machinery specialist CLAAS UK in Saxham joined other businesses in the CLAAS Group for a satelite link up on Saturday.
Trevor Tyrrell who has been with CLAAS 24 years and is CLAAS UK chief executive said: “The Claas family, although German, have strong links to this area.
“They own two large farms here – the Hengrave estate which they bought earlier this year, and a farm at Troston which they have owned since the 1960s.
“Cathrina Claas-Mihlhauser, our owner, grew up in that farm every summer and the CLAAS Group was founded by her grandfather.”

The parent company employs more than 9,500 and has 14 factories and is represented in more than 100 countries.
It held a family fun day for all of its employees and their families on Saturday with each country taking it in turn to join a satelite link with the head office in Germany.
“It was a huge event going on around the World and we were a small part of it,” said Mr Tyrrell.

Children also created a rainbow mural which will be presented to the hospital, and planted seedlings which will go in the hospice garden.
